Pathfinder Club awards scholarship to 15 students in Imeko-Afon


The Pathfinder Club of Nigeria, Imeko-Afon has awarded scholarship to no fewer than 15 students across various secondary schools in the local government.
The selected students were given free WAEC forms, having won the Pathfinder Club's scholarship competition examination held recently at Muslim Grammar School, Imeko.
All the secondary schools in Imeko-Afon Local Government took part in the exams, each represented by two candidates.
On Thursday, January 20, 2022 the scholarship cash awards were presented to the successful students for the payment of their May/June 2022 WAEC fees at their respective schools.

Speaking, the President of the club, Prince Tosin Adeluyi, said, “Our Club comprises indigenes across the local government and part of our aims and objective is to develop education at our local government level  by contributing our own quota. We have been doing this before now, about three schools have won our complete package of computer set at different yearly competitions and also lot of educational materials were also won.”

Oparinde Moses of Community High School, Moriwi

Odeyemi Joel of Community High School, Oke-Agbedede
Dennis Goodness, Iwoye Ketu Community High School
Oshe Paul of Muslim High School, Ilara
Olalowo Blessing of Muslim Grammar School, Imeko
Fadunsi Clement of Nazereth High School, Imeko
Ezekiel Deborah of Obada Grammar School, Obada. 
The club wish to make this a continuous exercise, with the hope of increasing the number of beneficiaries.
