At the inception of his administration in 2011, no one had envisaged he would perform beyond expectations and set a legacy for both himself and the Gateway State.

Senator Ibikunle Amosun came into power at a time the state was at the brink of heading into oblivion and economic recession ahead of the nation. Why? The state economy was bad beyond repair. This is due to the truth that his predecessor ran a government of 'Je ki n je (chop make I chop)' administration. The state fortune was shared among few as politicians normally smiled to banks to the detriment of the masses.

Security in OGD days was bad to the extent that banks were closing down and people began to travel to either Lagos or Ibadan to do transactions. This is because OGD government has empowered enough 'boys' with guns and ammunitions that were sufficient for them to ran the state 'aground'.

Talk of infrastructure, little was done in this regards especially when it comes to road construction. 'Daa bo - plaster it' was the style and a road couldn't last more than three months in those days except for a very few ones. 

As if not enough, the state resources were shared among political cronies and revenue was hovering between a paltry N500 - 700 million monthly. Now, Ogun generates at least, about N6 - 7billion on monthly basis. This is one of Amosun's wonder when Akinlade (Triple A) handled the state's IGR alongside capable hands with  the help of the civil servants.

SIA as fondly called, neglected the old methods of his predecessors and chose a new path for the state. The path of total commitment and dedication to the growth of the state economy and developmental infrastructures that will attract businesses and grow our revenues for the betterment of all.

In eight years, SIA has completed over 439 km of standard roads, maintained about 385 roads, constructed 17 flyovers, and 13 bridges across the state. All these projects has helped the state attract investments from across the world. Ogun state is now the investment hub of the country courtesy of Amosun's wonder.

Security of lives and properties was SIA administration's priority. Amosun was a governor that doesn't give in to thuggery, hooliganism, armed robbery, cultism and banditry. Armoured Personnel Carriers and patrol vehicles were purchased for the police and other security agencies in Ogun to ease their jobs. 

Also, local vigilantes were empowered to assist the conventional securities in curbing social vices in the state. According to security index, Ogun state is now the second safest state in Nigeria. Another wonder of a dedicated governor.

Apart from running a free education system from primary to secondary schools in Ogun, books were provided freely to the pupils and the state owned tertiary institutions fees were reduced by 40% in 2014 and part payments were allowed to avoid dropouts among the students. Uniform examination was introduced in the secondary schools, while he also settled outstanding WAEC fees, rehabilitated dilapidated schools and provided more than N5billion subvention funds for tertiary institutions. Ogun bursary and scholarship were also increased by over 100% in 2012 and has witnessed more than three successful disbursement via e-payment.

Health care deliveries in Ogun was rated 5th best in the country because it received proper funding under SIA administration. General Hospitals were upgraded, primary health centres were renovated and boreholes, electricity, and necessary equipments were provided to meet the WHO required standards. Less than 96 hours to the end of his administration, a 250 bedded modern multi-million naira hospital was inspected at 75% completion by PMB during his visit to commissioned legacy projects of SIA before he bows out of office in the state.

Farm settlements established in the first republic were resuscitated and over N1billion commercial agricultural credit loans scheme was provided for farmers. In fact, 125 hectares model farm was established in Ewekoro Local Government among others in the state.

Some legacy projects of Amosun are; Adire Modern Market, Ogun State Judicial complex, old governors office now modern Ogun state library, New Makun City, MTR Garden Isheri, Abeokuta City Center, MITROS RESIDENCES formerly gateway hotel, PMB estate, Orange Valley Estate, modern OGTV complex and digital studio, Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology, Abeokuta, Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia, Ogun model colleges. The list is endless.

Governor Amosun left the state with a debt profile of N90billion internal, and $102m external. It is good to note that he secured approval to obtain $350 fresh loans from world bank which will be take off funds for the new administration while the FG is owing Ogun over N126billion for the federal roads constructed by SIA administration in the state. It will be wicked to speak ill of Amosun's records for political reasons, because his legacies will forever be reckoned with by everyone in the state. He surpassed his predecessors, no doubt.

Heartily, I wish Senator Ibikunle Amosun an administrative farewell. The 'wonder man' that change the fortune of Ogun in eight years for good!

Yewa South Chairman sacked me for supporting Akinlade, Fmr SLG alleges

The former Secretary to Yewa South Local Government, Hon. Jimoh Taiwo has accused the Chairman of the council, Hon. Justin Edun,  of sacking him because he supported an Ogun West candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) during the 2019 governorship election in Ogun State

Taiwo said he was fired for publicly working for Akinlade as against Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Recall that Yewa/Awori has not produced a governor since Ogun State was created 43 years ago. 

Less than 24 hours to the expiration of Gov. Ibikunle Amosun's administration in the state, Taiwo was removed from office without any panel of enquiry set up to give him fair hearing and to defend himself of the allegations against him.

According to reports, Taiwo has confirmed his “illegal removal” and vowed to challenge same in the court of law. 

He reportedly disclosed that his crime was that he refused to join forces with APC, Dapo Abiodun and his supporters.

He said, “I was removed in less than 24 hours to the end of the tenure of the current administration in the state.  I don’t know what I did wrong.

“I refused to support Ijebu agenda against Yewa agenda where I come from. I have no regret in doing what I did. I supported President Muhammadu Buhari and some APC candidates, but for governorship I supported Akinlade of APM for Yewa agenda.”

He said, “Amosun did not act in this way to the Chairman of the local government Justin Obafemi Edun who openly supported an opposition candidate, Dapo Abiodun then."

He condemned his removal in totality, describing same as intolerable, illegal and provocative act by Dapo Abiodun and the LG chairman.

But in a letter sighted by African Advocate, Taiwo was said to have been been removed from office over allegations of slapping a career officer, absenteeism, insubordination and others. 

Meanwhile, the Chairman has sworn in one Hon. Yemisi Olaoye to replace the sacked Secretary. 

Please support me in the Senate, Buhari tells Amosun

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to the outgoing Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State to give him the needed legislative support when he gets to the ninth Senate.

Buhari made this appeal on Saturday when he visited Ogun State to commission some 'Legacy Projects' executed by Gov. Amosun.

Congratulating Amosun over his election as the Senator representing Ogun Central in the ninth Senate, Buhari said:

"I think he (Amosun) can continue to serve not only Ogun state, but the whole country.

“I am very pleased that I have been in his good books at least publicly, so, in the Senate where he is going to seat, I believe where he is going to seat for four years and I am going to remain, God willing for four years as the President, I will automatically assume that he will support me.

“Thank you I think that the way he has named those projects and the publicity he gave them every person will see the legacy projects being commissioned today.

 “I think he has prepared for this governorship seat, he prepared himself for it, he has put infrastructure that will last.

“I congratulate you for having the foresight and saving enough resources to make sure that your footprint remains permanent, very clever person. Thank you very much.

“The infrastructure you took me through, the flyovers, the hospital and this complex [Judicial Complex], they are first class. I think you have done well for yourself and Ogun State,”

Some of the projects commissioned by Buhari included: The Ogun State Television (OGTV) ultramodern studio; the 250-bed multi-specialty tertiary Hospital at Oke-Mosan; Adire Mall; Judicial Complex and the 10,000-seater capacity Amphitheatre of the Abeokuta City Centre – all in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

Buhari, who arrived Abeokuta in a Presidential chopper marked NAF 540 touched down at Archade Ground, State Secretariat, Oke – Mosan at 10:18am and was received by the quartet of Amosun, Governors Akinwunmi Ambode (Lagos); Kayode Fayemi ( Ekiti) and Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo).

Dignitaries at the inauguration of some of the projects included Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole; the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo; former legal Adviser of All Progressives Congress, Muiz Banire and some traditional rulers in the state.

Amosun said the new 15-courtroom Judicial Complex would serve as the base or headquarters for the High Court, replacing the existing High Court Complex in Isabo, which is over forty years old.

The Governor said the complex was designed to cater for both official functions and other contemporary needs of everyone working in the complex.

He said: “There are adequate spaces for a clinic, restaurants, creche, drivers’ pool, warehouses and workshops.

“For us and for the good people of Ogun State, a great journey of eight years will come to an end at midnight of Tuesday 28th May, 2019.

“Even as we prepare to bow out of office, our desire to continue to contribute our quota to the socio-economic development of our dear State remains undiluted.”

Breaking: GNI joins APC, secretly?

The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC,  in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, fondly addressed as GNI, might have secretly joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaving his followers behind in the dying ADC.

This was unveiled by our correspondent who reported that GNI is now the admin of an Imeko/Afon APC  Platform on WhatsApp.

African Advocate learnt that GNI, Hon. Kayode Oladele and other APC members are the admins of the Whatsapp group, which has a poster of Dapo Abiodun as its profile picture, as at the time of filing this report.

A source opined that no one would have added a politician of GNI's status to a Whatsapp group belonging to an opposition political party and even made him an admin,  if he had not joined them earlier.

Some members of the group said they thought GNI would exit the group immediately he was added, saying they were taken aback when he was also made the admin. 

GNI has on different occasions paid open and secret visits to Prince Dapo Abiodun. He was also appointed a member of Abiodun's economic transition team; while also attending public functions together.

A source intimated that GNI would officially announce his defection to the APC after Dapo Abiodun's inauguration.

What will be the fate of his followers who are still hanging in the Obasanjo-led ADC? Is GNI still interested in ruling Ogun State? That is a one million dollar question.

Meanwhile, a Facebook user, Sarah Olabimtan has called on Dapo Abiodun to be wary of the type of people he is 'fraternizing' with; saying "GNI is one of such people."

She spoke further that: "After ensuring DA and his APC got less than 10 Per cent of the votes cast in his Imeko LG, GNI has turned to Dapo's protocol officer running  after the APC man all around the state in a bid to be nominated as Minister under PMB. 

Yet, this same  GNI is silently warming up to again contest the Governorship seat in 2023.

He is in cahoots in the plot with the Emperor of Asoludero, his original godfather.

Asade congratulates new Onipokia, says it's been destined

One of the  contestants for the Onipokia stool, Prince Abdullahi Adediran Asade, has congratulated the new Onipokia-elect, Prince Yisa Olaniyan,  over his victory and emergence as the new Oba of the ancient town.

Asade, in his congratulatory message said "It has been destined that you will ascend the exalted throne of your forefathers which has come into fulfillment this time around. Your tenure shall be peaceful and the whole town will know it for good."

The message reads:

GNI sponsors the arrest of Akinlade's loyalist for sharing a post on WhatsApp

Mr Saka Tally, one of the APM  Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade's  social media influencer has been arrested and detained in police custody at Eleweran, Abeokuta by one Omooba Damilare Oloyede who is also a social media influencer to the ADC Prince Gboyega Isiaka (GNI) for sharing a post he saw on WhatsApp.

Damilare was said to have accused Saka Tally of sharing a post titled: "How GNI betrayed his followers and Ogun West" in his name.

The post, reportedly written by one Prince Damilare Olojede and not Oloyede, was said to have angered GNI who according to an insider,  gave Damilare a reasonable amount of money to arrest and detain Saka Tally, who is also the S.A. to Imeko/Afon Local Government Chairman.

GNI, according to a reliable source mounted pressure on Damilare Oloyede to arest Saka Tally so as to prove to him that he was not the original author of the post.

In his mission to silence his critics, GNI was said to have told Damilare Oloyede to do everything possible to ensure Saka Tally goes to jail.

It was learnt that GNI is using Dapo Abiodun's influence to keep Saka Tally in custody as the police refused to release him over a civil allegation.

Meanwhile, the situation has been generating reactions from indigenes of Ogun State who have been accusing GNI of being intolerant; querying how many people he would have arrested if he were Gov. Amosun who his 'boys' criticised for eight years.

"It seems GNI is trying to silence the press and public opinion. It seems he does not want to be criticised. Now nobody should write anything against GNI or the the Dapo Abiodun  he sold Ogun West to? It's just too outrageous. So if he were Amosun, all social media influencers will be in jail now. That's why he can't be a governor." One Ishola Adeolu said in a comment.

In the said article, the writer accused GNI of abandoning his followers, while positioning himself and his brother, Wasiu Isiaka for appointments from Prince Dapo Abiodun, who he alleged they worked for during the last governorship election.

How GNI betrayed his followers and Ogun West

When the whole electioneering process started fully last year, I thought Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka was truly in the race to become the next governor of Ogun State. I didn't know he was a spoiler.
Those of us who believed so much in him were everywhere attacking anybody who said any bad thing about GNI. We fought APC, APM and PDP members because of GNI.
We were added to various Whatsapp groups to promote GNI and attack anybody who posted anything negative about him.
I remember how we launched attacks against people on facebook and Whatsapp. We were just kept in the dark. But our leaders were making good money from our ignorance, while also positioning themselves for appointments. Won fi awa dagbo.
It was very painful to later know that GNI and Dapo Abiodun were meeting behind the scenes. They have negotiated. But only a few of those close to GNI were informed.
We later got to know after the election that GNI himself knew about how his ADC candidates were decamping from the party to join Dapo Abiodun a week before the governorship election.
The saddest thing now is that people like us who would have been listed among the newly constituted committee if we had worked for Dapo Abiodun plainly, were nowhere to be recognized. Everybody now sees us as Dapo's enemies; when in the actual sense, we were working for GNI.
Today, the GNI we worked for is in the committee, his younger brother is also there and some close allies. But we, his foot soldiers, are seen as enemies of the coming government. Is that how to be a leader?
Why didn't he tell us the game plan? We would have known how to play it.
The Ogun West agenda he carried on his head was just to deceive many unsuspecting indigenes of Ogun West who believed he was truly contesting to break the 43years jinx.
Those complaining about him being in the committee from Ogun West know what they are saying. You can see they didn't castigate the likes of Abiodun Akinlade, Otegbeye, Olaotan, Obanla, Jagunmolu and so on. That's because those ones made their anti-Ogun West Agenda intentions known from the beginning.
They are different from GNI who was a pretender. He was in the race to play a spoiler role. He allowed himself to be used, because of money and appointment. It's so sad we fell for his trick. It is just too ridiculous that a respected man like GNI could play on our intelligence.
Next time, I will look very well before I leap.

Jubilations as Olaniyan emerges new Onipokia

There was wild jubilation in Ipokia, Ipokia Local Government of of Ogun State as Prince Yisa Adeniyi Olaniyan was  unanimously elected on Wednesday as the new Onipokia of Ipokia land.

Olaniyan defeated other seven candidates as all the kingmakers in Ipokia voted for him to become the next monarch of the ancient town.

Announcing the result of the election held within the premises of Ipokia Local Government Secretariat in Ipokia, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Apari said "Yisa Adeniyi Adelakun Olaniyan got the votes of all the five kingmakers to become the next Onipokia."

Prince Yisa Adeniyi Olaniyan was born on September 5 1970 to the family of Late Prince Hamzat Akanbi and Madam Muyibat Olaniyan at Ilashe Compound of Ipokia. He had his elementary education at United African Methodist Church Primary School and his secondary education at Community Secondary School, all in Ipokia.

In 1988, he moved from Ipokia to live with his uncle in Lagos and while awaiting admission into a higher institution, he  got a job with Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Ikeja as a flight dispatch officer from 1989, where he was attached to Lufthansa German Airlines ground operations department.

In his quest for higher education, he got admitted into Lagos State Polytechnic Isolo in 1995. He had barely started his first semester when he played and won the US visa lottery. He then relocated to United States in 1996.

While in the United States, he attended The University of Houston, Downtown and obtained Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. He also got various certifications in Quality Assurance with over 15 years experience in Quality Control, a field he chose to work while attending school and continued to develop in, even after school. Currently working on his master's degree program.

Olaniyan is Employed with an oil & gas company called Emerson Process Management as a Quality Control Inspector in Houston Texas. He is also the CEO of Afro-Heritage Entertainment Company and the President/Chairman of the reputable AHBEAwards also in Houston Texas, USA.

His passion for entertainment led him into starting an entertainment company about 12 years ago, and then moved on to creating an annual Awards event in 2015 named Afro-Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Awards ‘AHBEA’ with the help & initiatives of some notable individuals in the Nigeria entertainment industry.

Olaniyan is a two-time National Public Relations Officer for Yewa Descendant Union, North America (YDUNA).

He is also the Executive Director and part-owner of a renewable energy company called NSB Worldwide Incorporated, operating both In Houston and Ilorin, Kwara State.

Olaniyan is married to Folasade Olaniyan, with two boys, Olusola Adeyola Olaniyan and  Robert Ayobami Adewale Olaniyan.

AMOSUN: A POLITICAL WARLORD

Before the 2019 governorship election in Ogun State, many analysts had predicted the APM would come distant third or fourth in the race.

To some, they believed the battle was simply between APC and PDP; while to some, it was between APC and ADC. 

But the whole world was taken aback when a political party launched in less than three months keenly contested with the much glorified APC, keeping other parties behind it. 

In fact, the APC in Ogun State foresaw danger and it started manipulating figures to subvert the will of the good people of the State. 

Remember the Vice President had to fly into Ogun State to orchestrate the rigging, which put the APC ahead of the APM with a paltry 19,517 votes margin. This is despite their alignment with all political bigwigs in Lagos and Ogun State to fight Amosun alone. 

Let me say this, In Oyo State where Tinubu spent a whole lot of money, the APC lost to PDP. If you think the APC is popular in Ogun State, it was because Amosun has done well and he managed the party well. Kudos to him. 

Today, the APM can bold of one House of Reps member and seven House of Assembly members, despite all the rigging. Give it to Amosun. If the APM had not come, he wouldn't have had any elected member in his camp. Those who hijacked their tickets in the APC primaries would have had it all. 

When I looked at the whole scenario, I doffed my hat for Gov. Amosun. He is truly a political juggernaut. 

Amosun believes so much in the people. He warned the youths against violence. He was sure of victory. He achieved victory, but those who thought they are gods manipulated figures because they have federal might. God will surprise them. Worry not!

It is surprising that political bigwigs in Lagos State joined those in Ogun State, including former governors, former deputy governors and others to fight one man, Amosun. They didn't win. They rigged the election and all they had as margin was just 19,517 votes.

Their candidates contested with the well-known APC, while Amosun's candidates contested with a 'zero party', the APM. Isn't it shameful that the almighty APC had to rig to defeat a party like the APM? Amosun deserves some accolades.

You will agree with me that Amosun is indeed a political warlord; popular and loved by the good people of Ogun State.

KLM's police escort dies after ambush by APC thugs

A police corporal, Sunday Idoko, who was attached to the Allied Peoples Movement’s candidate, contesting for the House of Representatives’ seat in Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, Kolawole Lawal, has died after they were ambushed by armed men suspected to be loyalists of the APC, on their way to Ilaro. 

It has earlier been reported by reputable national dailies that KLM's police escorts, electoral officers and some security personnel escorting election results from Ipokia to Ilaro, were attacked by armed men in the Eredo area of Yewa South Local Government, Ogun State.

Idoko died after he was rushed to the hospital.

It was gathered that the armed men were on a mission to either kill KLM or to snatch the result from the electoral officers.

The armed men allegedly loyal to some APC candidates in Ogun West, ambushed vehicles of the victims at Eredo village, situated between Owode and Ilaro and shot sporadically at them leading to the death of the police escort while others sustained various degrees of bullet injuries.

They were on their way to Oronna Town Hall, where they were expected to deliver the local government‘s House of Representative and senatorial election results.

One of the electoral officers who followed the team said they were coming from Ipokia Local government with the results when they were attacked.

The EO said ”they ran into an ambush when they were waylaid at Eredo village”.

The Executive Chairman, Ifekowajo LCDA, Adejumo Adewale, who was among those attacked said he was lucky to had survived the attack.

He said, “We were coming from Ipokia Local Government with the INEC officials, who were coming with the results of the election for the Senate and House of Representatives.

“We accompanied them with security men which included the Divisional police officer of Ipokia, the NSCDC officers and military men, with two vehicles, one at the front and back. When we got to Eredo, we heard gunshots, armed men were firing indiscriminately at us and we didn’t know what was happening.

“We were lucky to have escaped; when we got to Iwoye, we heard from people that were before us that they had shot at them. Bullets have hit the driver of the APM candidate, Kolawole Lawal, and the police that always escorted him, but he (Lawal) is alive.

Ipokia is the local government area of the Ogun State APM governorship candidate, Hon Adekunle Akinlade and his party had won the Senatorial and House of Representatives elections in a landslide on Saturday. 

Reports say that the result later arrived the collation Centre in Ilaro amidst heavy security.

We promise you our supports, Ijebu Obas tell Akinlade

Traditional rulers in the Ijebu axis of Ogun State said they would give the governorship candidate of the Allied People's Movement (APM) in Ogun State, Adekunle Akinlade, maximum supports to become the next governor of Ogun State. 

The Obas, under the aegis of Ijebu Progressives Obas said this Monday when Akinlade made a courtesy call on them at the palace of the Gbegande of Ososa, Oba Dr Adetoye Alatishe.

The Obas included Alaporu of Ilaporu, Soponlukale of Ijebu Igbo, Alaye Aba of Aiyepe, Alakan of Ayepe, Oligun of Ilugun North, Elerunwon of Erunwon, Sadereren of Isonyin, Ogirimadagbo of Ilodo and Abijaparako of Japara.

Others were Onirokun of Irokun, Elefire of Efire, Ayanyelu of Ijebu Ijesha, Olowu of Ayepe, Onitansin of Itasin Imobi, Ojotumuru of Abigi, Ajalaye of Ilugun North, Magusen of itamarun, Akalako of Ayepe, Aladeken of Oke Ako and Oliworo of Iworo.

Speaking on behalf of the Obas, the Gbegande of Ososa disclosed that he and other Obas are more convinced than ever before to support Akinlade to become Gov. Ibikunle Amosun's successor. 

Oba Adetoye said Akinlade had shown signs of good sportsmanship, and had demonstrated that he would be a listening governor; saying the Obas are fully  behind him.

"We have invited Hon. Adekunle AbdulKabir Akinlade, called Triple A, to come to talk to us Kabiyesis in Ijebu land, despite the dispensation of our baba; and that we really need a one-on-one with him, and he has demonstrated good sportsmanship, he has demonstrated he is a son that would listen to his father. 

"He has come today. We are happy and satisfied with everything he has said and promised. We have also promised him our supports nitori omo to ba sipa ni a ma n gbe. May God take us to the promised land." Oba Adegboyega said. 

The Obas said they have created a document to serve as a seal of their agreement with Akinlade, as they took turns to pray for him. 

The monarchs expressed optimism that Akinlade would emerge victorious in the coming polls; while appealing to him to ensure an Ijebu man takes over from him. 

Speaking, Akinlade appreciated the monarchs, he said he and his team have been enjoying relative peace in Ijebu since his campaign tour started. 

He added that he was at home having lived years in Ilese when his father was serving in Nigerian Army.

How Dapo Abiodun deceived Afolabi Afuape Afoo and Abiodun Akinlade

I said it sometimes last year that if you are still trusting Dapo Abiodun or former governor Segun Osoba and their supporters for anything, then you may need to get ready for high blood pressure.

They deceived a whole Baba Adinni, a three-time member of the House of reps. They lied to him and play pranks on his head. Abiodun Akinlade was not expecting it, he thought he would be the running mate to Dapo Abiodun. Fake! All na sakamaje.

The only  thing they could give Abiodun Akinlade is campaign's Deputy Director General. Deputy na deputy nao. His own is even DDG, not DG. Baba Adinni cried o; his followers wept too. Many of them have not recovered from the pain till now. After then, some of his supporters joined ADC, some are now in APM, just a few are still with him in the APC, while some are currently on recess. Abiodun Akinlade betrayed the Ogun West agenda which he once promoted. Too bad!

He is still with them because they have promised him juicy positions if Abiodun won. Maybe Abiodun would win in Iperu; but you know Lado said customer dada ni. No be me talk am o.

Afolabi Afuape, Afoo, the former Commissioner for Youths and Sports betrayed Gov. Ibikunle Amosun. He joined Dapo Abiodun group because they deceived him that he would be given a ticket to contest with.

Remember Afoo was one of the 26 assembly candidates whose mandates were stolen by Dapo Abiodun group. They won the primary in the APC, but they were not given the ticket.

When those 26 assembly candidates were running up and then to regain their stolen mandates, Afoo was among; they addressed a press conference, Afoo was there. But no one knew he was a mole among them. At this same time, he was meeting Dapo Abiodun secretly. Dapo Abiodun told him to forsake Amosun with a promise to give him House of reps ticket for Abeokuta South.

His secret was revealed when other affected candidates wanted to defect to the APM. Afoo refused moving with them. He went back to join those who stole his mandate because of the promise that he would be given his ticket. A selfish man like him only cared about himself; he didn't consider whether the remaining 25 made it or not. Imotaraeninikan


But when the National Assembly list of candidates came out, Afolabi's name was not there. They told him to wait, with a promise to grant him the house of assembly ticket for Abeokuta South 1.

When that list came out in December, his name was there, he didn't know it was another sakamaje.

Afoo cried on Thursday when INEC released the final list and his name was nowhere to be found. Adejojo has taken over. Awon omo Yayi/Osoba da ara won mo. Won ti gba Afoo danu. They even said they can't trust him, that he once betrayed Dimeji Bankole, he recently betrayed Amosun.

That's why it is not good to be betrayer. Adejojo, who did not even partake in the primary at all now has the ticket. But Afoo, who actually won the APC primary is crying up and down like a baby.
