Proceed to training colleges, NPF tells recruits, defies PSC

The Nigeria police force has told successful applicants joining the constable cadre to ignore the Police Service Commission by reporting for training on Monday.

NPF on Sunday released the names of successful candidates for the 2019 constable recruitment and fixed training resumption day as October 21st - 25th, 2019.

The list which has been generating reactions among NPF and PSC adds to ongoing feud between the two parties.

It was learnt that a Press release by the head, press and public relation officer of the commission Ikechukwu Ani on Monday disowns the list released by NPF.

The tussle between the two parties becomes messier as NPF official recruitment twitter handle in a tweet today at about 5:38am reaffirms the list and advises candidates to proceed to training at the stipulated date, while PSC press release is defied.

It was learnt by African Advocate that the list has not only generated reactions among the both parties, but also some of the candidates that did the medical earlier organised by NPF complain and show grievances about the list.

Some told our correspondent that the list contains unknown names, that many names on the list could not be found on those lists that had been released before; alleging that those ones did not apply for the recruitment nor participated in any exercise but shortlisted in the final list.

Many  also said they could not recognize anyone in the list released for their states, while others maintained that  the list was not released with local government of candidates.

African Advocate observed that the feud gets messier in every stage of the exercise as nobody knows where the supremacy battle ends.

  4. I haVe passed all the stages to the medicals but the list that was released is so so fake, there are names that never appeared for medicals but they are shortlisted as successful for training. Its bad very bad that after all the suffering to get to this stage and maybe probably passing the medicals our names are just replaced with people that never qualified in one way or another๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

  5. Enter your comment...imagine people that didn't attend to medical examination are qualified for training. and out 518 candidates from Lagos only 196 candidates qualified for training this is unfair and again some names appear more than two,and if you check well you see names for another state.WHY?
