Grammar: Learn how to use BEING and BEEN

Most of us have difficulties whenever it is time to use any of these two words.

Use BEING with the auxiliary verbs - am, is, are, was, were

For example:
I am BEING considered for the post.
She is BEING stubborn.
John was BEING beaten when I got there.
We are BEING maltreated by the police.
They were BEING trained that time.

Note that the above expressions show continuous tenses in passive voice.

Use BEEN with the anomalous verbs - has, have, had or having

For example:
It has BEEN done.
I have Been employed.
She had BEEN interrogated before my arrival.
Having BEEN appointed as the head of team, I will do my best to take it to the next level.
